Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary>> Confirmation of Resurrection for Us (link prior GG shows)

#722 The Holy Spirit prepared Mary by His grace, she cooperated freely throughout her life with His promptings. Gabriel calls her ‘full of grace’. She was like the burning bush of Moses. Filled with grace but not consumed. Mary was the true tabernacle housing her Lord. It is fitting that her glorified body would be assumed (not ascended under her own power) and become for us a sign for us of our future inheritance.

It is worth noting that the Virgin Mary has already received her glorified and resurrected body. Hence, she has the four attributes of the resurrected body.[1]

– Impassibility

-Subtlety

-Agility

-Clarity

Marian Apparitions none saws they are in the presence of a phantom, someone not something, do not give faith, but help make faith stronger

Hope is lively, confidence, Our Lady spoke to us, not always gently

Alma Mater longs for her children to be safe, Spouse of Holy Spirit, Mother of the faithful, composite of mother & father

Grace of Mary, she intercedes on our behalf with the Holy Spirit

Extraordinary creation she is

Mary gives us great hope, does not spurn us for what it cost her

Mary confident that the Lord can bring good out of terrible suffering

What mother would be away from her children? Lord permits it. Fitting.

Sheep knows shepherd’s voice.

Children know their mother’s voice.

Summary

Is the Cross worth the cost?

Thesis: Yes.

Sanity, happiness, beatific vision, resurrected glorified body, Our Lady but wait there is more.

– Spiritual gifts (1 Cor. 12:4-7; 1 Peter 4:10; Rom. 12:6-8; Eph. 4:7, 11-16) Every believer has one or more spiritual gifts-which are to be used to glorify God and edify the Body of Christ.

Our Lord has given us a treasury of gifts.

Confirmation enter into deeper with Holy Spirit, not a graduation. Not culmination but invitation into greater depth of Holy Spirit.

To know that there is a gift, need an introduction to what is a gift. As children, always need to be learning, growing in knowledge while on earth. Only with beatific vision will know.

Purgatory needed for detaching from world to be fully in heaven.
