- A single sacramental confession suffices for gaining several plenary indulgences; but Communion must be received and prayer for the intention of the Sovereign Pontiff must be recited for the gaining of each plenary indulgence.
- The condition of praying for the intention of the Sovereign Pontiff is fully satisfied by reciting one Our Father and one Hail Mary; nevertheless, each one is free to recite any other prayer according to his piety and devotion.
My routine of confession is monthly, and regular daily Mass the norms are satisfied.
At a bare minimum get partial indulgence, no downside. Wide latitude in God’s mercy. His desire is for us to be with Him for all time.
Not superstition, visceral in doing them. Connects a true belief an afterlife. Gates are narrow, walk by our self. All born by oneself.
More pious to grow in holiness and our sinfulness and need to be cleansed, great value, even if done imperfectly
