Save Texas Wineries

#WEARENOTBARS #TXWINESTRONG #JOINTHEMOVEMENT

Texas Wineries and Vineyards need your help. Texas Wineries and Vineyards have been shut down for 2 months over the misconception about tasting rooms vs bars. Please reach out professional and politely to the offices of Governor Abbott and your state representative and state senator to voice your opposition.

Please ask that Texas winery and tasting rooms be re-opened immediately as they have been inaccurately portrayed as bars and drinking establishments.

Nearly 95% of all Texas wine is sold through tasting room visits and offer the chance to learn about Texas agriculture and taste wines often served by the very families that make them.

Texas wineries being shut down causes a problem for our state’s Grape Farmers and that trickle down impacts even more Texas families.

We believe it is wrong and inconsistent that movie theaters, bowling alleys, amusement parks and golf courses, and holders of mixed beverage permits can sell alcoholic beverages but our winery tasting rooms have been singled out as a danger to our Texas community.

Our goal is to reach 5,000 signatures and we need more support. You can read more and sign the petition here:
