A Mary Garden Roses & Violets VI

Nothing was pleasing to me but God! I always wished in my heart to live until the time of his birth, and perhaps, deserve to become the unworthy handmaid of the Mother of God. I also promised in my heart to keep my virginity, if this was acceptable to him, and to have no possessions in the world. However, if God wanted otherwise, my will was that his will, not mine, be done; for I believed that he could do all things and wanted nothing but what was beneficial and best for me. Therefore, I entrusted all my will to him.[1]

How blessed in that moment of confident acceptance of God’s will, centered well. Capable of doing both the sorrows and joys in life. Don’t lose beauty in the sorrow.

Simple ways to foster the virtue of charity: Think kindly and speak kindly of others. Pray for the needs of others. Seeks to give and love without needing anything in return. Only God can truly do this. We can only approximate it. Patience is a daughter of charity. Visiting those who are shut in.

Charity is love in action. Lost our bearings on what love is, equally lose ability to perform charity correctly. Wrong in mind. Perhaps this is where hypocrisy comes in to play. Lack of understanding feeds it. Becomes on of ego.

Accept the way the person is. Not authentic love & charity. Those of Christian identity must love authentically. We love the entirety of the person, as we appreciate the totality of the rose.

Nature, get in the dirt, tilling the ground. Worried about the single tree.
