As they have waited for my life,
7 so recompense[a] them for their crime;
in wrath cast down the peoples, O God!
8 Thou hast kept count of my tossings;
put thou my tears in thy bottle!
Are they not in thy book?
The wages of sin are death, fear. There is a boomerang effect with evil. The destruction that is set for the other, is the pit the evil doer falls into. Hangman noose of Haman is an excellent illustration. Esther 7:10
Sometimes, silence can overwhelm our faith. David reminds us that God always hears our cries, He saves our tears, we are written in His book (which is one of life and prosperity)
God keeping our tears, power. Sorrow in escapable. God is aware of our struggle.
9 Then my enemies will be turned back
in the day when I call.
This I know, that[b] God is for me.
Prayer journal is an excellent help at this point. By reading and recalling how God worked personally in my life during the last problem/ crisis/ challenge will have confidence that my enemies will be turned back. Remember the works of the Lord.
This I know. Trust switch call to God, in his remembering, leads to fact God is for me.
Fear of the Lord, awe, not angry, respect, free from other fear. Position of humility. Key to hear of the Father is trust.
10 In God, whose word I praise,
in the Lord, whose word I praise,
11 in God I trust without a fear.
What can man do to me?
My excellent advice from David giving us a remedy. Praise God, praise His word, Praise Him with our own words, with trust. Fear casts out faith. Trust/ faith is the key to the heart of the Father.
