Nico vs Soros Follow up

1M can buy enough Democrat voters in a primary to swing an outcome from a popular DA to a far left widely unknown contender. I am somewhat confident that the DA office will return to its Republican roots in the general election. However, I am disheartened to see how intolerant and dependent the Democrat party has become in Bexar County. Nico brought a compassion to the rule of law and an independence to ideology that Gonzales cannot have. Many things might be said of Soros, and as a billionaire, he knows RIO, return on investment. Goliath won this round. Nico is not done serving his community. Something will emerge, worthy of him and Bear County.

“In my opinion the voters were unfairly influenced by $1 million worth of lies. There’s no other way to say it,” LaHood told supporters at his post-election gathering at the San Antonio Professional Firefighters Association Banquet Hall.”

Gonzales said the financial support from Soros “is what allowed us to get our message out, but I think this speaks to this being a mandate from the voters.”

District Attorney Bexar County Primary Election Results 2018

“Gonzales is now considered the favorite to win the DA election for Bexar County, which includes the city of San Antonio and is one of Texas’s largest counties. If he wins, Gonzales will join at least 11 progressive lawyers since 2015 who have won district attorney’s seats thanks to massive financial donations from Soros.
Soros has the routine down. He uses powerhouse Democratic law firm Perkins Coie to set up a super PAC named some variant of “Justice & Public Safety.” The super PAC will surface late in a DA race, using the kind of capital typically reserved for a national political race to fund a series of attack ads benefitting Soros’s preferred candidate, who wins almost every time.
The goal is to influence the nation’s criminal justice policies from the ground up by boosting progressive lawyers to victory in DA races around the country. It’s legal and appears to be working.”

Soros chalks another DA win

This article from the American Thinker offers sound analysis of democrat wins in Texas. Two quotes are worth highlighting.

“Money. The Democrats flooded the zone in Texas with money. Mountains of money, and money they don’t really have. What’s left has been billionaires carrying the whole thing, which is a risky picture for a supposed mass movement leftward, and individual candidates attracting a lot of money.”

“Here’s the flip side: If Democrats can turn a red state blue, it’s also a fact that in areas that are not all that badly rigged and in maybe some that are, Republicans can turn a blue state red. There have been signficant gains in New England for the Republicans that the press has ignored, save for Salena Zito. No, we don’t want to swap them Texas for New England, but New England is a prize and things can easily go the other way for Democrats, too.”

Addendum

Let’s hope SA follows SD lead.
“Soros, remember, had this master plan to take over district attorney offices in key cities across America and seed them with his hand-picked anti-law enforcement candidates.  The plan was to get people in office who would let crooks out of jail to effectively reduce the quality of life for the middle-class law-abiding people he has such a problem with. “

“George Soros has been trying to influence district attorney races all over the country. One recent campaign in California has just been dropped by a Soros group over an ad involving rape kits which was dishonest.”
